1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing or using Hommis you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
- Tenants looking for housing (rooms or flats)
- Owners offering properties
- Hommis acts only as an intermediary and does not participate in transactions
3. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT
Requirements: 18+, verification; responsibility: account security, notify unauthorized use, keep data updated.
4. PERMITTED USE
- Legitimate search and respectful communication
- Appropriate content in profiles and messages
- Compliance with applicable laws
5. PROHIBITED USE
Prohibited: spam, harassment, inappropriate content, fraud, impersonation; technical: reverse engineering, bots, IP violations.
6. USER-GENERATED CONTENT AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
6.1 Zero tolerance policy
Hommis has zero tolerance for offensive content or abusive behavior. This includes, among other things: Offensive, discriminatory or hate-inciting content; Explicit sexual content or nudity; Harassment, intimidation or threats; Unwanted, fraudulent or misleading information; Impersonation of other users or entities; Any content that violates applicable laws.
6.2 Reporting mechanism
Users can report objectionable content or abusive users through: Profile/property reports: Use the "Report profile" or "Report property" button available on all user profiles and property listings. Match blocking: Remove a match to block a user and prevent future contacts. In-app support: Contact us through Settings > Support.
6.3 Blocking mechanism
Users can block abusive users by: Removing a contact automatically blocks the user, preventing them from contacting you again. Reporting the user initiates our review process.
6.4 Our commitment to action
We commit to reviewing all reports within 24 hours. When we identify objectionable content or abusive behavior: We will immediately remove the offensive content. We will suspend or permanently ban the user who provided the content. We will take all additional measures necessary to protect the community.
6.5 Consequences of violations
Violation of these community guidelines may result in: Immediate removal of content; Temporary or permanent account suspension; Legal action if applicable. By using Hommis, you acknowledge and accept these community guidelines and our commitment to maintaining a safe platform.
7. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AUTO-RENEWABLE SERVICES
7.1 Hommis Pro Subscription
Hommis offers a premium subscription service called "Hommis Pro" (the "Subscription") that provides enhanced features and functionality within the application.
7.2 Subscription Terms
Subscription Type: Monthly auto-renewable subscription; Subscription Price: The subscription price is displayed in the app and may vary by region and platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store); Billing Period: The subscription is billed monthly and renews automatically each month; Free Trial: New users may be eligible for a free trial period (typically 30 days). If you start a free trial, you will be charged the subscription price at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
7.3 Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You will be charged the subscription price to your Apple/Google account within 24 hours before the end of the current period. The subscription will continue to renew automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You acknowledge and agree that we (or Apple/Google on our behalf) are authorized to charge the subscription fee to your payment method on file.
7.4 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time: iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Hommis Pro > Cancel Subscription; Android: Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Hommis Pro > Cancel Subscription; Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for the current billing period after cancellation.
7.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If we change the price: We will notify you in advance through the app or via email; Price changes will take effect at your next renewal date; If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
7.6 Refund Policy
All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law. If you are eligible for a refund under applicable law, please contact Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) support, as refunds are processed through their platforms. We do not process refunds directly.
7.7 Subscription Management
Subscription management (including cancellation, reactivation, and payment method changes) must be done through your Apple/Google account settings. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf. If you have questions about your subscription, contact us through the app (Settings > Support) or visit hommis.app.
7.8 Subscription Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your subscription if: You violate these Terms and Conditions; You engage in fraudulent activity; Your account is suspended or terminated; We discontinue the Subscription service. In case of termination by us, you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your current billing period, except in cases of violation of these Terms.
7.9 Platform-Specific Terms
iOS Subscriptions: Subscriptions are subject to Apple's App Store Terms and Conditions and Apple's Privacy Policy; Android Subscriptions: Subscriptions are subject to Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy; By subscribing, you also agree to the applicable platform's terms.
7.10 Changes to Subscription Features
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features of the Subscription service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes to Subscription features.
